Sambucus canadensis. Large, spreading shrub that is fast growing. Can do very well in wetter areas, good for erosion control. In the fall produces large clusters of small berries that are edible. Provides excellent cover and food for wildlife. Flowers are very attractive to pollinators. Important food source for songbirds. 2-3 foot B-R seedlings.
