          SESC Permit Application and Documentation

A soil erosion permit is required by state law for any earth disturbance that is within 500 feet of a lake or stream, or any earth change that is an acre or more in size.

Download the documentation you will need to file for your permit by clicking the button below. You can also request the documentation and/or get answers to questions by sending us an email at schoolcraftcd@macd.org or calling our office at (906) 341-8215.

Physical copies of the permit application are also available at our office. When we're out of the office, copies of the document are kept in the display stand in the hallway adjacent to our office door. Our office is located in Room 216 on the second floor of the Schoolcraft County Courthouse building.
